Testimonials
Raw, unfiltered, unbiased.
The real testimonial is the one that comes from the heart. These are in clients’ own words — lightly edited only for length. Names appear where clients gave written permission; the rest, understandably, prefer to remain anonymous.
I came to Kawal in a very dark place — I had convinced myself that nothing would change. He never once told me what to do. He asked questions until I found the answer myself. Today I see challenges as opportunities to grow, and that is not a sentence I could have said out loud two years ago.
We had tried other approaches and other people. Within ten sessions my wife and I finally understood what the other one had actually been asking for all along. That had not happened in years of trying.
You have been my anchor in the most difficult phase of my life. The fog lifted. I could think again, and I could be a mother again.
I used to freeze in group settings and lose focus within twenty minutes of any task. Now I speak in rooms I would once have avoided and I can hold my attention through a full working day.
Our son had stopped speaking to us. Kawal worked with all three of us, patiently. The anger has gone out of the house. That is the only way I know how to describe it.
As a leader I was competent and completely unheard. He showed me that the problem was not my content — it was that I had stopped being curious about anybody else in the room.
What I valued most was that he never took a side. In eight sessions neither of us could accuse him of being the other one’s coach, which is exactly why we both kept turning up.
I had been circling the same career decision for eighteen months. He did not give me the answer. He made it impossible for me to keep avoiding the question.
The homework was the part that mattered. Small things, every week, that I could not talk my way out of. That is where the change actually happened.
Our leadership team had never had an honest conversation in four years. Kawal ran one in ninety minutes, and we have not gone back to pretending since.
He told me in the first call that what I needed was a psychiatrist, not a coach, and helped me find one. I came back to him a year later. I have never forgotten that he turned down the work.
As a first-time CXO I was drowning quietly and performing loudly. Six months of fortnightly sessions and I am doing neither.
A note on how these are collected
Every testimonial here was given voluntarily, after an engagement ended, by a real client. I do not offer discounts or incentives for feedback. Where a client is named, I hold written permission on file. Where a story could identify someone who did not consent, I change the identifying detail or leave the story out entirely — which is why some of the most striking ones are not on this page.
Unedited

Screenshots of what clients actually sent, exactly as they arrived. Identifying details are blacked out; nothing else has been touched. Select any one to read it in full.

Some stories need more than a paragraph.
Longer client narratives — what they arrived with, what we did, and where they ended up.
