Corporate Workshops

Your retention problem is a relationship problem wearing a spreadsheet.

Custom-built workshops and programmes on emotional intelligence, feedback, conflict and manager capability — designed for your context, not delivered off a shelf.

People do not leave companies. They leave one specific relationship they could not fix.

Ask any HR leader why their best people left and you will get a list: compensation, growth, market conditions. Ask the people themselves, six months later, in confidence, and you will usually get a name.

Almost every capability gap that shows up as an engagement score is relational. A manager who has never been taught how to give feedback that does not land as an attack. A team where two senior people have not spoken properly in a year and everyone works around it. A first-time manager, promoted for technical excellence, discovering that the job is now almost entirely about people.

I do not deliver a fixed programme. I spend time understanding your context, your language and your actual problems, and then build something specific — because a workshop that uses generic examples teaches people that the content is generic.

Formats run from a half-day intensive at an offsite to a multi-week manager development programme with practice and coaching between sessions. What I will not do is a ninety-minute inspiration session with no follow-through, because I have watched enough of those change nothing.

This is probably you if…

  • Exit interviews keep pointing at managers rather than at pay.
  • You have promoted technical experts into people roles with no support.
  • Feedback in your organisation is either absent or brutal, with nothing in between.
  • Two senior people are in an unresolved conflict and the whole function is routing around it.
  • Engagement scores dip in the same specific questions every year.
  • You want an offsite that is not a rope course.
Talk it through

What you get

Specifics, not promises.

01

A discovery phase

Conversations with a cross-section of your people before I design anything. Included as standard, not an upsell.

02

Custom-built content

Your scenarios, your vocabulary, your actual dilemmas. Anonymised, and instantly recognisable to the room.

03

Practice, not lecture

Rehearsal of real conversations. People leave having done the difficult thing once, in a safe room.

04

Manager toolkits

Scripts, frameworks and one-page aids that survive contact with a busy Tuesday.

05

Follow-through

Practice assignments, a reinforcement session, and optional coaching for the managers who need more.

06

A themes report

What I heard across the organisation, and what I would recommend. Patterns and recommendations, never names.

The arc

How an engagement unfolds.

Every engagement is different in content and identical in shape.

Start here

Scoping call

The business problem, not the training request. Frequently these turn out to be different things.

Discovery

Interviews and, where useful, a light diagnostic across the target population.

Design and sign-off

A detailed outline with objectives and measures, agreed before delivery.

Delivery

Half-day, full-day or a multi-session programme. In person or online.

Reinforcement and report

A follow-up session four to six weeks later, plus written themes and recommendations for you.

Questions

Before you book.

Emotional intelligence for managers, feedback and difficult conversations, conflict resolution, first-time manager capability, psychological safety, communication across difference, and leadership presence. Also, more often than you would expect, sessions on relationships and family for employee wellbeing programmes — because the two are not separate.

For skill-building with real practice, 15 to 25 participants. Beyond that people stop practising and start watching. For keynote-style sessions there is effectively no ceiling — see the speaking page.

Yes, and designed for online rather than a room session pointed at a camera. Shorter modules, more breakouts, different pacing.

It depends on discovery depth, duration and audience size. Tell me the problem and the population and I will send a proposal with options. I would rather scope properly than quote a day rate into a vacuum.

Yes. Sessions run in English, Hindi or a mix, which matters a great deal for frontline and plant populations.

Change comes from the follow-through, not the workshop. That is why practice assignments, a reinforcement session and optional coaching are built into the design rather than offered afterwards. If a client wants a single day with no follow-up, I will say honestly what that will and will not achieve.
